BFresh.Media Joins TikTok – Here’s Why You Should Too!

TikTok has become the go-to platform for companies looking to reach new audiences. With its mix of user-generated content, and the ability to create videos tailored to your brand, it’s no surprise that BFresh.Media has finally joined the party! But why should you join? Let’s dive into what makes TikTok a great platform and how you can use it to your advantage.

Reaching a Growing Audience

TikTok is most popular with Gen Z users and TikTok is now even more popular than Instagram among that demographic. However, that is not why we joined. Our target audience is older, but that demographic is growing as well. In the first quarter of 2021, 36% of TikTok users were between 35 and 54 years old, compared to 26% in 2020.

Of course, it is important to tailor your content appropriately in order for it to be effective. With the right strategy, you can reach an audience who would otherwise be difficult to engage with on other social media platforms.

Creating Fun & Engaging Content

One of the most important things about TikTok is that it encourages creativity with its video format. Videos are now allowed up to 10 minutes in length, which gives you a lot of room to create fun and engaging content! You can experiment with different types of videos such as tutorials, Q&A videos, or product demonstrations. Plus, there are endless possibilities when it comes to filters, music and sound bites, duets, trends, and more.

We found that we were creating reels with such efficiency that we were looking at ways to get the most out of that content by posting them in different places. That included Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and finally, TikTok.

Before making the move to TikTok however, we wanted to develop a creative concept that we thought would work for this platform. That’s when we stumbled upon a questionable AI image generator and a fun way to kick off our account. Check out our first video here:

Gaining Exposure through Trends & Hashtags

TikTok is all about trends and hashtags; so much so that they even have their own hashtag challenges where users are encouraged to post their own unique take on a particular topic or trend. As part of these challenges users will tag friends in their posts or share them across other social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram. This means that by participating in hashtag challenges you can gain exposure while simultaneously growing your profile on the platform itself!
